Tanglewood choose B-Band preamps as original equipment on their Premier guitars and selected Sundance series models. 
They find that B-Band transducers act in much the same way as a condenser Microphone does. Again a Transducers is an electrical device that converts one form of energy into another. The transducers perfectly complementing our instruments and providing an excellent reproduction of natural woods sound.
There are a few constants when they make a Premier series guitar Tanglewood always use, solid spruce or cedar tops, bind the bodies and finger board with Canadian maple, add Grover machine heads green abalone position inlay and A 3 series B-Band Transducers all where applicable.
